About one in four say cleaning with their parents helped them bond, according to a Kenmore survey of 2,000 U.S. adults.
64% find comfort in performing tasks the way their parents taught them, and 70% learned to wash dishes in a specific order: silverware, glasses, plates, and then pots and pans.
60% clean the kitchen before bed. Other cleaning tips Americans learned from their moms and dads include picking up items while dusting and cleaning off bars of soap.
