Hugh: Study Finds Hosting Easter Dinner More Stressful Than Catching a Flight or Dropping Your Phone

Happy Easter! No matter how you celebrate the holiday, I’m willing to bet food is a part of it. While getting together with family and friends over a meal is something that most people enjoy, it can be pretty stressful if you’re the one hosting. Between buying and preparing the food, cleaning the house, decorating, and generally preparing for guests, hosting is a lot of work. Hosting can be enough of a burden that a new study found that for many, it’s more stressful than catching a flight before the gate closes, dropping your phone, or passing a test.
So, what exactly is it about hosting Easter dinner (or any holiday gathering, for that matter) that is so stressful? The number one answer for things hosts worry about the most was how much food to prepare for the number of guests; followed by how clean their home is, figuring out how much time is needed to prepare food, and whether the guests will like the food.
