Hugh: Candy Company Looking to Pay Someone $100,000 a Year to Approve All Products

Do you like candy? Well you’ll have to LOVE it for this job. Candy Funhouse, a North American online retailer of sweets, is looking for a Chief Candy Officer. The position will be in charge of approving all products, which of course means personally taste-testing every one of them. That’s a lot of candy. A release from the company says the CCO will also be responsible for leading candy board meetings, deciding which candies to carry, and “taking charge of all things fun.” If you’re a candy lover, it almost seems too good to be true, and then it gets better. The selected candidate will be rewarded with a salary of $100,000 a year for their troubles.

So, what qualifies a person for a job like that? Not much, apparently. You’ll have to love candy of course, but the retailer says that they’ll provide training and anything else you may need to be successful. It’s a work-from home position, but the company does say Canadian residents should work out of Toronto.
