Hugh: Apparently Leg-Lengthening Procedures are the New Trend

Do you want to be a little bit taller? In the quest for a few more inches, some people are undergoing a radical surgery that requires both femurs to be broken.
The procedure, which can cost between $70,000 to $150,000, involves lengthening the legs by breaking them and inserting adjustable metal nails. Doctor Kevin Debiparshad, one of few North American doctors who performs this procedure, says demand has gone up since the pandemic.
A recent BBC report claims hundreds of American men are opting for the procedure each year.
