Stephen: British man to sail from St. John’s to UK in 3 foot long boat

Daredevil dad Andrew Bedwell has built a record-breaking fiberglass vessel that he intends to cross the ocean with. The 48-year-old man aspires to use his three-foot long boat to make a transatlantic trip from St. John’s to Cornwall, England, a voyage that will span over 3000 kilometres. His goal is to make the journey before he turns 50. The tiny boat has a top speed of 2.5 mph. Previously, the smallest boat to cross the atlantic was a 5’4 vessel in 1993. Andrew is still seeking a title sponsor for his voyage.
