Stephen: Quebec TikToker being investigated for faking crimes for views

Canadian TikToker Anthony Gagné was arrested for faking crimes for views. His past antics have included placing a cardboard head in a window so neighbors would think a person was spying on them, and driving around in a van marked “free candy.” Gagné has also tried to get garbage collectors to take a barrel with a nuclear waste symbol on it.

Gatineau police executed a search warrant of the TikTokers home and found three cell phones, fake blood, a gas mask, and a ski mask. Gagné is being accused of public mischief. “It is time for people to understand that actions or words expressed on social media are not without consequences,” Patrick Kenney of the Gatineau police force said.
