Stephen: 71% say road trips are a great excuse to indulge in snacks

What is your favorite road trip treat? In a survey of 2,005 adults, 71% say they have a pass to munch on as many snacks as they want during a road trip. 47% of respondents would pick chips and 44% would pack cookies for the drive. 44% say it’s in poor taste to ban eating in the car during a long trip. 61% wouldn’t even go with someone who didn’t allow snacking in their vehicle. While most people agree to share their munchies, 65% admit there are snacks they wouldn’t share with everyone else in the car…namely, chocolates.
