Hugh: Canada Rises to 13 on 2023 Ranking of World’s Happiest Countries

All things considered, Canada is a pretty great place to live. So good, in fact, that Canada has been ranked as the thirteenth happiest country in the world. Every year, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network looks at data from people in over 150 countries, evaluates it, and comes up with a list of the world’s happiest countries using a formula that considers general life satisfaction. Usually, the countries at the top of the list aren’t too much of a surprise as they stay pretty consistent from year to year. In fact, the world’s happiest country – Finland – has held the number one spot for six straight years. This year, Canada came in at 13, which is actually up two spots from last year’s ranking.
