Andrew Furey stepping down as Premier

Andrew Furey is stepping down as premier of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The soon to be former Premier made the announcement earlier at Confederation Building, flanked by his family and surrounded by Ministers.

In his speech, Premier Furey noted he felt it was time for him to “move on.”
