Stephen: Vancouver bakery thief broke in and cleaned up

A Vancouver bakery owner shared video footage of a strange thief who cleaned up after himself before taking six chocolate champagne cupcakes.

Security footage of Friday’s incident at Something Sweet went viral on TIkTok with commenters laughing at the alleged thief’s attempt to mop broken glass from the door he broke.

The culprit also left behind some selfies on the bakery’s store phone. In them, he’s sporting orange sunglasses. Inspired, Irvine is now creating orange sunglass cookies.

While the incident would usually have upset her, the owner says she “can’t be too mad at this guy … the media on the business is far more than I could’ve ever dreamed.”
