Hugh: 35% Admit They’ve Ended a Relationship Because The Person Didn’t Like a Specific Food

There are plenty of reasons that some relationships work out. Sometimes there’s a falling out over a particular event, sometimes people want to explore other things, and sometimes you find out that you disagree on fundamental issues. It turns out one of those fundamental issues is food. According to a new survey, 35% of people admit that they’ve ended a relationship because the other person didn’t like a specific food. It seems a little harsh, but I’m not going to tell anyone what to do with their love life.

The poll results also included other curious things that have brought on a breakup. 40% of respondents say they’ve ended a relationship because the person was too obsessed with their pet, 42% say they’ve broken up with someone because they used social media too much, and 14% say they broke it off because the other person didn’t cook.
