Stephen: Study suggests three day weekend starting on Friday for happier employees

The results from a six-month trial are in: it’s time to take Fridays off, forever.

The trial involving 33 companies and employees in six countries was organized by 4 Day Week Global. But were workers just as productive working a four-day workweek?

Results were positive: Companies in the program reported increased revenue and happier and healthier workers.

Employer Since Soothing Solutions claims the four-day workweek has allowed employees to explore hobbies and spend time with loved ones. “One of our employees has an elderly parent who was terminally ill, and she got to spend three, four days a week with them,” founder Sinéad Crowther said.
