Stephen: Study reveals why people love true crime so much

Can’t get enough of true crime? There may be a primal reason why. Research scientist Coltan Scrivner speculates that morbid curiosity could be 300,000 years old.
“True crime can have a learning component to it or at least a perceived learning component,” Scrivner said. “We feel like we’re more prepared in these kinds of situations.”
