Stephen and Shannell discuss Paris Hilton starting a true crime podcast

Paris Hilton is set to executive produce the true crime podcast My Friend Daisy, examining the 2021 death of Daisy De La O and the use of social media to find her killer. It arrives on March 26th, highlighting the importance of digital activism in seeking justice for Daisy’s tragic story. Journalist Jenn Swann will write and host the series. “If you’re anything like me, you probably think of TikTok as a place for cute pet videos, get ready with me’s, and viral dance trends. But a few years ago, a group of teenage girls used TikTok for an entirely different and utterly heartbreaking reason — to track down their friend Daisy’s killer,” Hilton said in a preview.

Stephen and Shannell on OZ Mornings had some difficulty envisioning Paris Hilton and her trademark vocal fry delivering some stereotypical true crime cliches.
