Robert Shawn, a native of Mount Pearl, is OZFM’s music director, as well as host of Afternoon Drive, weekdays from noon to 6pm, and Saturdays from 2 to 9pm. Robert joined OZFM in September 2010, working behind the scenes, before transitioning to a role on-air in January 2012.

In addition to his work in radio, Robert is a dodgeball enthusiast, working with Dodgeball Newfoundland & Labrador. He also enjoys axe-throwing, once had a poem published, was photographed for the MerB’ys charity calendar, and enjoys playing guitar. He currently lives in Mount Pearl with his bulldog, Turk. 

Robert guarantees corny jokes and someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously when you hang out with him while he’s on air.
