Robert: Powell’s Supermarket recalls bread products

Powell’s Supermarket in Bay Roberts is advising its customers to return bread products baked in the store.

We are issuing a recall for all Powell’s Supermarket Bay Roberts baked bread products,” the supermarket announced on their Facebook page. “We have discovered the product may not meet our high standards for quality and safety.”

Products affected include those with a best before date of January 31st and February 6th, 2023.

Customers who purchased recalled products are asked to return the products to the store for a full refund. The recall only applies to products baked in their Bay Roberts location.

“We take food safety and quality very seriously and are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible,” a statement reads. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding.”
