Katarina Roxon named flag-bearer for 2024 Paralympics

Gold medal wining Paralympian, Katarina Roxon has been named as one of the flag-bearers for Team Canada at the opening ceremonies for the 2024 Paralympics in Paris, France.
The competitive swimmer from Corner Brook will be joined by wheelchair basketball player Pat Anderson in waving the Maple Leaf at the ceremony on Wednesday.
The 2024 games will mark Roxon’s fifth, making her the first Canadian female swimmer to compete in that many games.
Roxon will participate in the women’s one hundred metre breaststroke on Friday.
