Do you ever think your computer or virtual reality headset are making you sick? They might be! Cybersickness includes nausea and disorientation. You may also have headaches from overworking the eyes. Vertigo is another symptom. Blue light glasses, using larger fonts, and taking breaks can help manage these symptoms.

Another tech-related step you can take to improve your well-being has to do with all of those notifications we get several times a day. Writing in The Guardian, author Georgina Lawton says she turned off all her phone notifications and found it gained her better focus and concentration, better sleep, and more control over her life. She just felt “more present.” She advises her friends, who are appalled at the notion, to try turning off just the non-essential social media pings from sites like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to get an idea of the impact it can have.
