Love knows no bounds, but apparently it does have a price. How much you spend on Valentine’s Day may depend on how much you care about the occasion, but it also has to fit your budget. It turns out, according to a Time2Play survey, residents of Newfoundland and Labrador expect to spend an average of $65 on Valentine’s Day this year, the third least out of all ten provinces. That total is just about half of what British Columbians expect to spend, $129.43, which leads all provinces. Other big spenders include Quebec at $115.20, Alberta at $111.66, and Ontario with $104.26. The only provinces that will spend less than Newfoundland and Labrador are New Brunswick ($60) and PEI ($55).
