A group of professional tattoo artists say this cursed ink will bring bad luck: your partner’s name.

In TikTok user @markdtattoo’s video, various artists are asked about the popular request.

“Oi don’t, unless you’ve got kids, or are married. If not, it’s bad luck,” one artist warns. “Don’t do it. It’s like a curse. You’ll probably break up the next week if you do it,” another cautions.

The comments are filled with inked clients with their own “partner ink” tales.

“My mum got her ex’s name and when they split she got a tattoo of a bird shitting on it because it was cheaper than getting it removed,” one says.
