Galway Hitmen capture ninth national championship

The Galway Hitmen  can once again call themselves Canadian champions.

The team travelled to Saskatoon for the Canadian Men’s Fastpitch Championship and finished the tournament with a perfect 9-0 record, including an exciting finals that saw the Hitmen defeat the defending champs, the Toronto Batmen,  8-7 in extra innings.

This win marks the ninth time the Hitmen have taken home the gold since 2012.
