Fire ban once again in place for St. John’s and surrounding area

Due to a high fire hazard rating for the region, the St. John’s Regional Fire Department has put a fire ban in place for St. John’s, Mount Pearl and Paradise.

While the ban is in place, the use of outdoor wood burning appliances, charcoal BBQs and open fires is prohibited. Propane firepits and BBQs are permitted however.

The ban will remain in effect for a minimum of seven days. An update will be provided on July 31.
