Spectrum Queer Choir is pleased to invite you to a special concert commemorating International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia!

Evelyn Jess and Spectrum Queer Choir will perform together, including selections from Evelyn Jess’ latest album “Bare Bones” – a collaboration which has been woven together by the skills of composer and arranger duo Clare Follett and Kelsey Arsenault. Featuring music to soothe, inspire, and unite us in times of rising hatred and fear, let us join our voices in solidarity against anti-trans policies and celebrate the love and resilience of our community. A portion of the proceeds will be shared with Trans Youth NL and Trans Support NL.

When and where?
Friday, May 17 · 7:30pm NDT
Tickets $20 at makingwaves.eventbrite.ca

Accessibility: For this event, Triangular Communications will be providing ASL interpretation for hard of hearing patrons.

The venue has recently been upgraded with a ramp leading to the main doors. The floor seating is all one level with a gentle downward slope leading to the front of the space, and there is one row with extra leg room that the venue has designated as “accessible seating” because it has more room for placement of mobility aids. There is a ramp to the washroom area as well, but not all doors are button-operated. If you have any other questions or concerns about accessibility, or would like to request specific accommodations, please contact [email protected] and they’ll do what they can to accommodate. Feel free to reach out to me for more information.
