Good Tidings, a holiday fundraising concert

Good Tidings, presented by Sable Building & Design, is a holiday fundraising concert in support of the newly launched Katie Sullivan Instrument Library. The event takes place Sunday, December 21, 2025, at The Bella Vista in St. John’s.

The evening will feature The Tide Quartet, a dynamic, jazz-influenced band based in St. John’s. Formed just over a year ago, the group has quickly become a local favourite for their engaging, polished performances. Members include Daniel Dumaresque-Correa (vocals/keys), William Massey (saxophone), Isaac Piercy (bass guitar), and Michael Grandy (drums). With a repertoire spanning classic jazz standards, holiday favourites, and contemporary pop hits inspired by artists like Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra, and Elton John, The Tide Quartet brings energy, sophistication, and warmth to every stage.

In addition to The Tide Quartet’s headlining performance, the concert will open with another talented local group and will feature special musical guests throughout the night. Guests can also enjoy a festive community raffle and 50/50 draw.

All proceeds from Good Tidings will go toward purchasing and maintaining instruments for The Katie Sullivan Instrument Library, a registered charity dedicated to ensuring that every child in Newfoundland and Labrador has access to instruments to support their music education.
