Voices of Placentia Bay – Festival in the Square

Voices of Placentia Bay Festival is a spectacular event with music, vendors, artisans, crafters, inflatables and more happening in the Town of Placentia on Saturday, August 2nd 2025! This year our headliners are the Masterless Men! Placentia Bay’s tradition of singing and storytelling is one of the best examples of intangible cultural heritage in the province.

Many people and events in the area have influenced the music and stories of Placentia. This festival will continue to explore some of the main influences such as the Placentia Bay resettlement program, the influence of the American presence at Argentia and the deep connection between people and place. Most importantly it will preserve and share the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Placentia Bay while presenting the vast pool of talent in our region.
