Stephen: Thinking hard makes you tired

Are you ever too tired to clean or exercise after a long day at the office? It turns out, feeling tired because of cognitive effort is a real thing!
A study conducted by the Brain and Spine Institute in Paris suggests that after thinking hard, you’re more likely to make choices that favor ease. Some theories suggest this reaction helps preserve brain function.
40 people involved in the study were given various tasks and were then offered immediate gratification, or a long-term reward. Participants who had to do more complex tasks tended to favor immediate gratification.
