Stephen: Quebec woman finds 34 year old message in a bottle from Newfoundland

A Quebec woman found a message in her bottle thrown out to sea by a Newfoundland man 34 years ago.  Trudy Shattler found the bottle suck on some rocks containing a note dated May 29th, 1989 — 34 years and one week before the day she found it. Photos of her discovery posted to Facebook caught the attention of Richard Hamlyn, the son of the note’s original author.  The bottle will be returned to him and placed at his father’s grave.
