Robert: Tentative agreement reached in PSAC strike

The Public Service Alliance of Canada says they have reached a tentative contract agreement with the Treasury Board which will see more than 120 000 federal government workers return to work.

While the deal means most workers will report for their scheduled shifts today, PSAC says strike action will continue for approximately 35 000 Canada Revenue Agency workers as contract negotiations are still ongoing.

The union says the new four-year deal includes a 12 per cent total wage increase and protections surrounding remote work.
