Judy Stirling passes away

Everyone at OZFM would like to express sadness at the news of Judy Stirling’s passing. A magnetic person that lit up every room she entered, Judy’s enthusiasm, love for life, humour, and talent will be greatly missed. Judy is well known for her turns on television, appearing with daughter Lydia on the Real Housewives of Orange County and their own Bravo series Glitter Town, as well as being an enthusiastic host on the Janeway Telethon and guest on son Jesse’s Meetings With Remarkable People on NTV.

Jesse Stirling wrote on social media “Forever in my heart, my beloved mother. Your love, wisdom, and warmth will always guide me. I miss you deeply, but I carry your spirit with me every day. Until we meet again.”

Lydia McLaughlin wrote “We are heart broken but we know she’s dancing with Jesus. 💫 Fairydust, confetti bombs and crowns like heaven has never seen before. 👑What’s in the cat is in the kitten and I promise to continue to make you proud.”

Stephen Lethbridge, Hugh Campbell, and Shannell Lewis also paid tribute to Judy during OZ Mornings on Thursday, October 10th.

Robert Shawn also took time to reflect on Judy’s legacy of joy.
