Hugh: 35% of Remote Workers Spend an Hour a Day Working From Their Bed

More than a third of remote workers are typing away in bed for an hour a day, according to a survey of 2,000 work-from-home employees.

A sign that the pandemic has altered our home lives, 55% of those who recently moved did so in part for a better home office. The average remote worker spends $1,700 of their money to work more comfortably, and perks of staying at home include more comfortable clothes, eliminating the commute, and working on their own schedule.

“Working from home has evolved from makeshift workspaces using countertops and barstools to more thought-out home office setups that rival even the best corporate office spaces,” said Kevin Moffitt of Home Depot
