Georgia man accidentally given $1.4 Million speeding ticket

A Georgia man was issued a $1.4 million dollar speeding ticket after doing 90 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone. Connor Cato said the amount stunned him. “I knew I was going to be fined for speeding, but $1.4 million was beyond comprehension,” Cato said. When he called the Savannah court, he was told the amount was no mistake. Fortunately, a representative later explained that the amount was an auto-generated placeholder, and the fine would not exceed $1,000.
