Spirit Horse Show 2024

Stable Life Inc., provider of the Spirit Horse equine-assisted wellness program in Portugal Cove- St. Philip’s, is hosting its second annual Horse Show. Each year, Stable Life hosts our Spirit Horse Day fundraiser to celebrate the life of Alison Walsh, the inspiration of our program. For the tenth Spirit Horse Day in 2023, we hosted our first Newfoundland and Labrador Equestrian Association sanctioned Horse Show. In response to last year’s success, this year’s show will be a two day event with an expanded showing arena and larger variety of classes. All proceeds from this event go directly back to the Spirit Horse program, allowing us to provide equine-assisted mental health services at no cost. The Spirit Horse Show will take place over two days, August 24 and 25, from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day. It is a public event. Spectator entry is free and folks are welcome to come cheer on all of our athletes!
