Norris Arm Flying Boat Festival Family Day and Farmers Market

The Norris Arm Flying Boat Festival will host a family day and live entertainment July 20th and Farmers Market July 21st. The farmers market runs from 11am-3pm and is a way to reach back to when people would raise their own animals or grow their own crops and then share their harvest within the community. The event provides the community with an opportunity to access locally grown, harvested or homemade produce and products. It also creates a business opportunity for local farmers and small businesses to offer their products at a competitive cost to commercial operators. With the increased reliance on the local food sharing program the event also offers the opportunity to give back with the donation of no perishable food items to the community food sharing program
