Heavenly Creatures Christmas Pet Food and Donation Drive

Heavenly Creatures, a local no-kill animal-rescue organization, kicked off its annual Christmas Pet Food and Donation Drive on Dec. 11th. The drive will run daily up to and including Dec. 24th at their location, which is 292 Lemarchant Road, in St. John’s. Director Jessica Rendell says it takes a lot of pet food and funds to get the organization through the winter.

“The need in the community for pet food is overwhelming. The cost of pet food has increased quite a lot and we have many furry bellies depending on us to keep them full between the homeless animals in our care who and the animals we help through our Pet Food Bank for low-income pet parents.”
