Cindy’s Cause 5k/2k

Cindy’s Cause 5k Run/2k Walk is a fun run event to create awareness of Kidney Failure and the effects that come hand in hand when a person ends up on dialysis and the important of getting checked for this disease. The event will be timed, so you can catch your time at the finish line. Organizers will be awarding the top 3 male and top 3 female overall finishers with prizes that have been donated to the event.

It will be held to show support for Cindy as she goes through the battle of kidney failure since losing her husband, Tony, 6 years ago. She and her son Logan have had their fair share of struggles as they are trying to get use to this new way of life. Cindy currently has had her leg amputated and needs our help.

All participants are asked to have fun and wear the colour “orange” which is the national colour for Kidney disease. Put your team together and show your spirit while help spread the awareness of how a disease such as this can change your life in the blink of an eye. Sponsored by The Running Room – St. John’s.
