From April 3rd to 5th, CFUW St. John’s is holding their Great Big Book Sale at the former Globo Shoes location on the Avalon Mall parking lot, across from McDonald’s and next to Big Eric’s. They have 50,000 books to sell (fiction and non-fiction) all categorized and signed for easy finding. Tables will be re-filled daily with fresh books, so visit often.
Admission is $1 and sales are cash only. It’s open 1 to 9 on April 3rd, from 10am to 9pm on April 4th with an early opening from 9 to 10 for persons with mobility issues, and open from 10am to 1pm on April 5th with half prices, followed by special opening times for charities and students (see poster for registration info).
