When school closes for the summer, many children lose access to school breakfast programs, lunch association meals, and in‑school food pantries. That loss creates a significant rise in food bank usage across our communities.
Parsons Transportation, in conjunction with Knights of Columbus- Blessed Trinity Council 6792 are coming together to help fill that gap.
On Saturday, June 13 from 10am- 3pm, they will be onsite at Sobeys Long Pond CBS ready to collect donations in aid of the CBS Paradise Community Food Bank. Stop by, say hello, and help collect non‑perishable food items which will help support local families through the summer months.
