Baskets of Hope

Baskets of Hope centers around the sale of “Legacy Baskets”, or hanging flower baskets. All baskets are designed by community members who have created the designs in memory of a loved-one. Through this event we aim to reduce the stigma associated with receiving mental health care, increase our community knowledge of existing mental health resources, and create opportunities for folks to let us know what they envision for mental health care in our province. The event includes mindfulness activities, kids activities, BBQ, Flower Sales, a 50/50 draw, a door prize, participation for other community organizations, and more.
