Seven Corners Gathering: A Place of People

Seven Corners Gathering offers a new way to experience the communities surrounding Gros Morne and the people who call them home. Each Corner invites you to slow down, take in the surrounding landscape and listen to the voice of someone with a deep connection to that place. Through these personal stories, you will discover the threads connecting people, place and history throughout Gros Morne National Park.

From October 23–25, experience all Seven Corners during a three-day celebration of local stories, music and food.

At each scheduled stop, you will have time to explore the new structure, enjoy the view, read the interpretive panels and access the featured story. A local partner will bring the experience to life through live music or food inspired by local and seasonal ingredients.

Award-winning Western Newfoundland singer-songwriter Sherman Downey will host the weekend, travelling to all seven sites to guide visitors through the experience. Along the way, Sherman may also join some of the featured musicians for a tune or two.

Visitors will travel independently between the sites, allowing you to build your own Gros Morne getaway. Suggested itineraries and nearby attractions will help you plan your route and make the most of the weekend.

Please note that the Seven Corners sites are situated to take in spectacular views within the communities. Short walks across uneven terrain are necessary to enjoy the experience.
