As part of a global initiative, the Botanical Art Society of NL has a collection of work on display promoting local plants that have sustained through history. Deep Roots: Crop Diversity of NL, runs until November 30th at the O’Brien Farm Centre. The exhibition is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. On Saturday November 15, artist Glynn Bishop will be on site from 10:00am-2:pm working on a project and available to answer questions. Come and view the beautiful artwork and learn about the plants that have sustained us throughout history. All works are for sale – a great chance to surprise the art lover in your life with a fabulous Christmas gift.
