Patrick Street Housing Centre Connections for Seniors

Connections for Seniors is thrilled to share that our new Patrick Street Housing Centre in St. John’s is now operating at full capacity, providing a safe, supportive, and empowering home for 35 older adults. As we continue to grow, we’re developing a new common area designed to be the heart of our residence — a space where seniors can relax, connect, and build meaningful relationships through activities that promote inclusion and well-being. This shared space will bring comfort, belonging, and community — a warm place to gather, share stories, and enjoy social and recreational activities together

We are seeking monetary donations to help furnish and equip this new space. Your contribution will go directly toward creating a comfortable and engaging environment, including:

• Cozy seating – sofas, armchairs, and tables for relaxation and connection
• Entertainment area – a wall-mounted TV for movie nights and shared experiences
• Games and puzzles – for laughter, connection, and mental stimulation
• Books and activities – to encourage lifelong learning and engagement

Our goal is to raise $10,000, and every donation — big or small — will make a meaningful difference. Together, we can create a vibrant gathering place that enriches the lives of seniors who call Connections for Seniors home.
