The Long Walk for mental health is taking place September 27th to 28th, to raise money for The Gathering Place and RUAH Counselling Centre. For the past decade, Bill Guiney has participated in a fitness challenge to raise funds and awareness for mental health initiatives in Newfoundland Labrador, including a walk from Port Aux Basques to Signal Hill in 2021. This year, he will be leaving Renews and arriving on top of Signal Hill around noon the next day. Cheer him along the route and contact wilguiney@gmail.com for donation info.
