Jon Bon Jovi helped stop a woman from jumping off a bridge in Nashville on Tuesday. While filming a music video on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge at 6:00 p.m., Bon Jovi noticed a woman on the brink of jumping. Alongside another pedestrian, he successfully talked her out of it and guided her back to safety over the railing.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and commended Bon Jovi for his intervention. Nashville PD Chief John Drake emphasized, “It takes all of us to help keep each other safe,” in response to the incident. TMZ further highlighted that Bon Jovi, through his JBJ Soul Foundation, has received training in assisting individuals facing crises.

Outspoken Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher only added to the momentum of the rumors by suggestively responding to fans’ inquiries about the possibility of a reunion, before tweeting, “I never did like that word FORMER.” And now, Oasis and both the Gallagher brothers’ Instagram pages have all shared the same mysterious post on Instagram, sharing only the date 27.08.24 and a time of 8 am. Liam and Noel Gallagher last performed on stage together back in August of 2009.

In preparation, the East Coast Music Association has announced that submissions for the 2025 awards will open on Tuesday, September 3rd. Additionally, in order to promote inclusivity and accessibility, submission fees will be waived for the first 48 hours.

“We’ve made significant changes to make the application process clearer this year and more accessible, especially with the introduction of a free submission period,” says Anthony Carew, ECMA Director of Programming. “We understand the financial pressures many artists are facing post-pandemic, and we want to support them in every way possible.”

The 2025 ECMAs will see several new categories awarded, including: Solo Artist of the Year, Group of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Vocal Release of the Year and Content Creator of the Year.

While those singalongs were taking place, more details emerged about the terror plot associated with those Vienna shows. The chief suspect is a 19-year-old Austrian citizen who has now fully confessed to attack plans during an interrogation. In a news conference, Omar Haijawi-Pirchner, the head of Austria’s Directorate of State Security and Intelligence, said the suspect was “clearly radicalized in the direction of the Islamic State” and fully intended to kill himself and “as many people as possible” outside the concert venue using knives and homemade explosives.

The world’s leading ticket sales and distribution company says they recently discovered “an unauthorized third party” had accessed a cloud database hosted by a third-party data services provider.

“Based on our investigation to date, we determined that the unauthorized activity occurred between April 2, 2024, and May 18, 2024,” a statement released Monday said. “On May 23, 2024, we determined that some of your personal information may have been affected by the incident. We have not seen any additional unauthorized activity in the cloud database since we began our investigation.”

Ticketmaster has confirmed the affected database contained personal information of customers who bought tickets to events in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

The company says they have been working with law enforcement, credit card companies and banks since the discovery of the security breach.

Users should monitor their bank accounts for any suspicious activity in the meantime.
