Following the pandemic-related shutdowns and years unlike any other, so many people seem to be running on empty and it’s no shame if you’re one of them. Psychologist and speaker Naomi Holdt recently took to social media to explain the general exhaustion out there, and it makes sense. She calls the pandemic years a “vicious onslaught” that took strength to make it through, and the process left us all “carrying shock, trauma, grief, heaviness, disbelief” going forward. Naomi explains that once things started going back to normal, whether you were conscious of it or not, there was a psychological pressure to “catch up” in all parts of life, whether it be work, school, relationships, or otherwise. She explains, “attempts to re-create some semblance of ‘normal’ on steroids while disregarding that for almost two years our sympathetic nervous systems were on full alert, has left our collective mental health in tatters.” Her advice? Remember that almost everyone needs a little extra compassion, including children and teens, “and most of all…be kind.”

His past antics have included placing a cardboard head in a window so neighbors would think a person was spying on them, and driving around in a van marked “free candy.” Gagné has also tried to get garbage collectors to take a barrel with a nuclear waste symbol on it.

Gatineau police executed a search warrant of the TikTokers home and found three cell phones, fake blood, a gas mask, and a ski mask. Gagné is being accused of public mischief. “It is time for people to understand that actions or words expressed on social media are not without consequences,” Patrick Kenney of the Gatineau police force said.

Inside, Rocks discovered a letter from a little girl from Newfoundland dated October 3rd, 1988.

The letter was written by Jennifer Lynn Boudreau, a Grade 3 student from Mount Pearl. Once written, Jenifer sealed it inside a bottle and tossed it into the Atlantic Ocean, wondering where it might turn up.

“My name is Jennifer, I am eight years old. I am in grade three at St. Peter’s Primary School,” the letter reads before revealing more about herself.

It concludes with, “Please write back soon.”

Jennifer would have to wait for her response as it would take 35 years for Cara and her boyfriend came across the letter in Norway.

Even though the letter took three and a half decades to reach someone, it took less than an hour on Facebook for Rocks to find the the no-so-little-girl-anymore to notify her that the letter had been received.

Maury Povich, the talk show host famous for saying, “you are not the father,” revealed to TMZ that he is launching an at-home paternity test business called “The Results Are In.” This news comes nearly a year after the final episode of the Maury show aired.

“I’ve been around paternity testing for more than 20 years, so I know exactly what’s going on and how we can help those people who are looking for fathers, fathers who are looking for children, fathers who don’t think they’re the fathers and fathers who think they’re the fathers,” Povich said in a video. “We can unite families after a long period of time.”

At 9:55 pm on Thursday, June 8th, RNC and RCMP officers were able to locate and arrest a 72-year-old male from New Brunswick in Badger. The individual is believed to be known to the girl.

The following morning, at 1:15 am on Friday, June 9, 2023, investigators approached a cabin near the Bay D’Espoir Highway where they located Morrell, an adult female and an adult male. The male and female were taken into custody. Morrell’s safety and wellbeing were confirmed.

The following charges have been filed as part of the investigation:

According to Travel and Leisure, Rawls suggests starting at the gate. If your flight isn’t completely full, the gate agent may be able to make last-minute adjustments to the seating chart to allow you and your companion to sit next to one another.

Rawls also adds the unofficial, yet proper rules to follow are to always sit in your original seat first, wait until boarding is finished, and stay within your seating class/zone. She notes that if people sit in the wrong seat, this can cause havoc for both other passengers and the crew, so just be patient.

Once boarding is complete, it’s time to make your move. However, you should never ask if the passenger you desire to swap with is a child, elderly, or anybody with special needs that require assistance, for obvious reasons.

Did the person say no? That’s a shame, but getting upset won’t help the situation. After all, they paid for their seat too. “If someone isn’t willing to swap, regardless of their reasoning, don’t argue with them,” Rawls says. “It’s their seat.”

Researchers surveyed 1,300 couples and took a look at their big five personality traits. While many couples were drawn to those with similar personalities, this was not crucial in making the relationship last.

In this study, partners who were more extraverted, agreeable, conscientious, open-minded, and less negatively emotional reported the most relationship satisfaction.

Unfortunately, Sofia Rodriguez’s plan didn’t work as expected. “We took their fingerprints, but they don’t appear in the system. We still don’t know who is who,” she said.

It seems like even medical professionals were confused, as one twin appeared to have been vaccinated twice.

Commenters assured the new mom. “I’m sure that my sisters got mixed up at some point and each ended up with the other’s name, since there’s almost no difference between them until they start speaking,” one replied.
