Total Number of COVID-19 Cases in Newfoundland and Labrador Rises to 203
During Saturday’s provincial health update, it was announced that there are 8 new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador, bringing the total to 203. Of the new cases, 7 are located in the Eastern Health region and 1 is in the Labrador-Grenfell region. On a positive note, the number of people who have recovered has risen from 11 on Friday to 18 as of Saturday afternoon. The case in the Labrador-Grenfell region is someone who works at the hospital in St. Anthony. Contact tracing is underway.
