Stephen: The team that rescued the Thai Soccer team are back, rescuing dog in cave

The diving team who successfully saved members of a Thai soccer team stuck in a cave recently made another successful rescue: a dog named George who was stuck for three days in a Welsh cave. The Daily Mail reports that Alex Barrett was walking George when the beloved pup fell into a hole and became stuck. “I could hear him, so I thought he was really close to the surface, so I spent about eight hours trying to dig him out before I called the fire brigade,” Barrett says. The brigade in turn called the South and Mid Wales Cave Rescue Team, who patiently worked to reach him. “They eventually managed to get through and start feeding him with food on the end of a stick and water with the top of a bottle before they got him out,” Barrett shares. Post-rescue photos show a muddy team holding an equally muddy, tired-looking dog.
