Stephen: Study finds glasses make people seem less intelligent

Do glasses make you look smarter? A study from the University of Jordan found that the old stereotype might not actually be true. The study surveyed 517 college-age people who were shown photos of people with and without glasses. Results showed that those without glasses ranked higher in terms of perceived attractiveness, confidence, and intelligence. Researchers hope to use the information to help those who need glasses, but might not want to wear them because of these stereotypes and self-image issues. 64% of adults around the world wear glasses, according to the Vision Council.
