Stephen: Shaving foam the key to saving you from foggy glasses

While wearing a mask has become a normal part of everyday life during the pandemic, it can be a pain for people who have to wear glasses, as they can easily get fogged up. Lifehacker has dredged up a super simple tip to prevent this using shaving cream.

“Simply pump a tiny bit of shaving foam on your lenses and work it into a lather, then wipe off with a soft cloth (don’t use a paper towel or toilet paper, which can leave small scratches in the surface). If you’re worried about streaks, they shouldn’t be a problem, provided you wipe off all of the visible residue.” The process works because it leaves behind an invisible coat that can prevent the moisture from accumulating. The process will also work with hand soap, but may last longer with shaving cream.
