Stephen: Pub sells single cheese puff and onion ring on required food menu

Several U.S. states are allowing restaurants and bars to sell alcohol to-go during the pandemic–but they’re also insisting that customers purchase food along with their booze. Now it seems one eatery in Pennsylvania has found a sneaky way to circumvent those restrictions by selling a single cheese puff for a nickel. A Reddit user shared a pic of the unnamed business’ “Here for a Beer” menu, which includes “One Cheese Puff Ball” for five cents. Other super-small food orders on the menu include $1 fries and a “Solo Onion Ring” for 50 cents, which they jokingly call “the only hoop you need to jump through for this beer!”
