Stephen: Maroon 5 reportedly having trouble finding guests for Superbowl halftime show
Maroon 5 is reportedly not having a good time planning their 2019 Super Bowl halftime show. “[The band] is having a lot of trouble finding guests,” a source tells Us Weekly. “No one wants to associate themselves with the NFL.” Despite earlier reports that the group’s “Girls Like You” collaborator Cardi B might join their performance, the insider adds, “As of today, she’s not. She’s been going back and forth, but it’s a no right now.” The news follows reports that other artists, including Rihanna and Pink, turned down invitations to perform at Super Bowl LIII because of the league’s controversial stance against Colin Kaepernick and kneeling during the National Anthem.
